Irving M. Smoot Jr., founder and owner of Locktec Service has over 40 years of experience in locksmithing and alarm installation. He is a graduate of the National School of Locksmithing and Alarms (an accredited New York trade school) and a graduate of New York City College.​He has over 10 years of experience in law enforcement in both the state of New York and the state of Georgia. His expertise in locksmithing was utilized in the construction and development of the new Dekalb County Jail. Mr. Smoot is a certified and state licensed low voltage alarm technician and a registered locksmith and current member of the Associated Locksmith of America, Inc.
